Pristina: A football club in Kosovo offer Luis Suarez euro 1,500 per month to strengthen their attacking during the Uruguay star undergoing a period of suspension.
Kosovo is not on the global suspension of Suarez because the club is not a formal member of the European Football Federation (UEFA) or the International Football Federation (FIFA). So in theory, the Liverpool players can play in the Super League that country.
Kosovo Club, Hajvalia made the proposal in a letter to Liverpool.
"It would be a big step for us to acquire a player who is well known in Kosovo," said the president of the club, Xhavit Pacolli. "It will give meaning large enough not only for us, but for the whole of Kosovo.
Pacolli said his team offer 1,500 euros per month, while Liverpool will receive compensation of 30,000 euros for four months, Suarez played in Kosovo.
"This may sound funny but it is for him the highest offer we could do. Offer is greater for us than himself. We hope he will accept to play here at least one game.
"Just show us how a world-class football action." Hajlvalia, who finished sixth in the Super League are located in suburban areas of Kosovo, Pristina.
Suarez had to leave early from Brazil being found guilty of biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini and faces four month suspension from football activities and some other punishment. - AFP
