Cristiano Ronaldo‘s name just keeps getting linked with a move back to the Premier League.

The Portuguese superstar recently talked about his love for Manchester United and his wish to return, but now his former manager, Jose Mourinho, is set to offer him the chance to play for Chelsea.

According to a report from the Daily Express, Chelsea and Manchester United will do battle for Ronaldo next summer as the winger seeks a move back to England from Real Madrid.

The transfer fee involved is said to be almost $100 million for the reigning World and European player of the year, who seems to have become disenchanted with life at Real. After a summer of transition where the likes of Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso left the European champions, Ronaldo criticized the transfer moves and claimed “he would have done things differently.”

Ronaldo has since released a statement explaining his comments and gave his full backing to club president Florentino Perez.
